OLW #40: Energy

I jumped in and played along with the OLW challenge blog this week. The word up was "Energy". Ha! Me? Energy? Yeah, well, here's my layout.....

One more before vaca!

Finished this one up last night for the Back to Your Scraps challenge at Scrapperie. I just love these type of challenges! Forces me to use up some of that stuff that I just HAD to have. LOL

As far as the layout goes....I was sailing right along, pretty much satisfied with the way it was turning out....UNTIL....until I added the title, then ugh!! I was having a hard time picking out letters for the title anyway and then ended up missing the mark....BAD! Oh well, what's done is done and I'm not going to redo it now.

It's not over 'til the fat lady sings....

and I ain't singing!!! My creative juices just keep oozing from every orifice! (Isn't that a nice little visual?! HA!) Just to prove it, here is one more layout for the holiday weekend. And in case you lost count, that brings my running total up to 4 layouts!! Yep, count 'em....4!!! Oh, I'm on a roll, baby! :)

So here is the deal...

It's a fact that I haven't scrapped much lately. I was coming to the sad realization that my creativeness had eluded me. I was ready to throw in the towel. Hang it up. Clear it out. But THEN, something happened this weekend! Something just clicked, and I whipped out 3 layouts....one right after the other!! Aaah, it feels so good to be back in the swing of things!!
