This is my Week #2 Summer Circle Challenge entry at Scrap-n-Circle. The requirement this week was to take inspiration from pics of 2 towels that were posted, and also to alter buttons in some way. I altered my buttons by applying American Crafts rub-ons over them. The photo, the colors, and the wavy-like design were pulled from the inspiration pieces.

This is a layout I created for the Scrap-n-Circle Summer Circle Challenge. Week #1 challenge requirements was to do a 2 page layout with at least 3 patterned papers, circles of any size somewhere on layout, at least 4 photos, and at least 2 embellishments. I hadn't done a 2 page layout in FOR-EV-ER! I just love the way challenges push you out of your normal comfort zone :)

This is a card I created as an entry for a guest designer call at Treasured Scrapbooking. Requirements were to use at least one flower, one heart, and the word "treasure" on a card. I thought the scripture worked perfect with the theme. On the large green Heidi Swapp flower, I used my Rhonna Farrer flourish and swirl stamps with Staz-On ink to dress it up a little, and also used a script stamp on the HS ghost heart. I was able to make my own journal block using an Art Warehouse rub-on bracket, then drawing the remaining lines with a ruler and markers. The scripture is my own handwriting.

In the beginning...

Some days the creative juices flow, and some days they don't. These past couple of weeks they've been pouring!! Well ok, it's the various challenges I'm doing, but nonetheless, I've gotten quite a bit done! Anyway, I wanted a place to be able to keep up with layouts, cards, and alterables I've completed. So here it is.....My Scrappy Life! :)
