I'm such a sucker!!
Sucker for challenges anyway! So of course when I saw this awesome new challenge blog, I bookmarked it right away!! It's called The Design Experiment, and the first challenge was to write a note to your younger self. I'm not one to do a whole lot of journaling, but there was just something about this challenge that made me want to do it. Of course, by the time I got mine finished, they already have challenge #2 posted. Better late than never though, right?? Besides, that's just another layout completed for me! And oh yeah, if you're wanting to read the journaling, just click on the pic for a larger view. To type all that here....well, I'm just not feelin' it ;)

Take a hike!
No, wait....I mean, take a trip!! LOL The newest challenge at Caardvarks is to create a card with a transportation theme. As soon as I read it, I thought of the Making Memories papers I have that have never been used. I know, imagine such a thing! I also had the perfect set of stamps from October Afternoon to go along with them. So in the end, a very simple card resulted, but I'm happy with it! :)
And another card challenge at My Sketch World. This one was to draw inspiration from the sketch provided. I got to use some of that uber yummy Teresa Collins Journal It paper I mentioned earlier, so that's what the cute little June calendar is ;) The stamp set I used on this one is from Label Tulip .....they come up with the most awesome stamps over there!! The little woven "congratulations" label has been in my stash for upteen ages. It came from the clearance bin at Target. Gosh, it sure makes you feel good to use up that stash! So anyway, I like this one, too, and I hope you can see the resemblance.

seeing green.....
yep, it's that time of year ya know, so to honor upcoming St. Patty's Day, here are a couple of projects that'll have you seeing green! Used lots of goodies from the Feb. kit at TES on this layout. And just let me tell ya, it was chocked full of awesome vintage finds! I used the Glimmer Mist in that same kit on the card to spray the shamrock.
